Children's Music
Ron does an extremely popular interactive childrens show called the "GUITAR RON" show (ages 1-8). Ron has been captivating children’s audiences for many years. His easy going style and wonderful guitar playing and singing radiate contagious warmth and fun Children will find it hard to keep the smiles off of their faces as Ron draws from a large repertoire to choose the perfect songs for each occasion. Besides having a number of self-penned children's songs to his credit, (with a full-length album soon to be released) there’s nothing like the delight on a child's face when Ron surprises him or her with a song written on-the-spot especially for that child. Parents as well as kids consistently respond favorably to Ron’s talent and appealing personality, winning him many repeat performances. Ron has been affiliated with several reputable children’s entertainment agencies over the years including Associated Entertainment and Productions (attn.: Jerry Dennis, 212-265-9700), Naomis World of Entertainment (Attn: Eileen, 914-354-4911), Carrie Feiner Agency (914-725-0200) and the Arnold Agency (Attn: Jane Hanshaw, 404-262-2001) Ron has also been affiliated with Hospital Audiences Inc, of New York since 1975 and he’s been a BMI songwriter since 1970. |
Ron also conducts a workshop called "The Magic of Songwriting". (ages 7 and up). The goal of this workshop is to help children discover the thrill of putting words and music together to create their own songs. Topics like song structure, melody and lyric writing are presented in a fun and entertaining manner. The children will be guided as a group through the songwriting process using their own song ideas as the inspiration. The result will be one or more original songs. (that can then possibly be professionally produced and distributed to each child) Ability to play an instrument is not necessary for this workshop. |
